ABOUT MAVERICK FOOTBALL
Maverick Football offers quality coaching and training for male and female footballers and coaches. We provide specialised professional football programs in the form of private tuitions and small group sessions. Our mission is to develop, support and empower footballers (and coaches) and help them reach their full potential. Growing confidence and self-belief in players is paramount. We are particularly passionate about the development of female footballers. We do not promise or guarantee team selections or overseas trials but instead provide honest assessments of players.
Maverick Football’s philosophy is about developing and encouraging the ‘x-factor’ or the extraordinary in footballers. In the dictionary, maverick is defined as an “unorthodox or independent minded person”; or “behaving differently from the expected or usual way”. These qualities in football are considered positive and rare to find. We don’t want to produce robots; we want technically gifted, unpredictable players that can change the result of a game, whether that is a last ditch, goal saving tackle or an injury time volley into the back of the net.
From a player development perspective, Maverick Football train and nurture young male and female players to improve their football skills, athleticism and sportsmanship. Maverick Football is passionate about transforming today’s promising male and female footballers into inspiring role models on and off the field. We provide technical detail, creativity and game-like realism to each session, and mentor all players through the program. We prepare training sessions tailored specifically to the players position and skill level. We cater to footballers of all ages and experience levels.
